Harborne Pool Primary Schools Gala
Orion SC hosted a gala at new Harborne Pool on Saturday 28th January for the Wates trophy in which
five primary schools competed. The swimmers and teachers involved were all a credit to their schools
showing enthusiasm, no little skill and great sportsmanship . The trophy was won by St Mary's RC
School, Harborne after lots of close and exciting races.
Our thanks go to all volunteers who helped run the event and to the schools - St Mary's, Our Lady of Fatima, St Peter's, Harborne, Chad Vale and St Edward's, Selly Oak.
We have received following quote from one of the schools involved -
"Congratulations on a well organised gala. The children really enjoyed participating. It would be great if you decided to run it as an annual event!"
